Located on Edinburgh's bustling Easter Road to the north east of the city centre, the apartment has lots of space, a large kitchen diner and beautiful period features. It is decorated to a high standard, with plenty of inspiration for travellers in the decor. Comfort and convenience are guaranteed!
The apartment is an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding area. All major city centre attractions are within easy reach with Princes Street, the Royal Mile, the Playhouse Theatre and key Festival venues such as the Pleasance only 5 minutes by bus or approximately 15 minutes on foot. The Michelin-starred restaurants and Royal Yacht Britannia in Leith are half an hour on foot or 10 minutes by bus.
After a long day exploring Edinburgh, relax in the large living room with its comfortable seating area, flat-screen TV (with DVD player and cable channels), stereo (with CD, DAB, FM, USB and iPod dock facilities), board games and free wifi. Then rustle up a meal in the large, well-equipped kitchen diner. The high-spec, new fitted kitchen has warm wood work surfaces and a breakfast bar and features all modern comforts like hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and various kitchen utensils and gadgets. The dining table seats four in a comfortable alcove.
And we are sure you will have a good nights sleep in the comfortable twin bedroom (beds can be easily pushed together to form a double) or on the double sofa bed in the lounge, providing sleeping arrangements for up to 4 people. Duvets, pillows, linen and towels are included in the rental and changed on a weekly basis.
The bathroom has a toilet, sink, bath and electric shower. There is central heating and double glazing throughout the apartment, ensuring a cosy stay in the heart of Scotlands capital.
Shopping & Dining:
A supermarket (open until 10pm) is just across the road and Easter Road has a great selection of convenient small shops ranging from wine merchants, bakery and patisserie, fruit and veg shops and gift shops.
For those who do not feel like cooking there are take-away shops and good quality restaurants nearby.
Families are welcome at this apartment (although no pets, please). A travel cot can be supplied by prior arrangement. Nearby Montgomery Street Park, Arthur's Seat and Calton Hill offer green spaces and the park has children's playground.
Parking and transport:
Free and metered on-street parking is available in the area around this apartment and it is well-served by frequent bus services. A taxi from the city centre costs between £5-10. The apartment is around 20 mins walk to both Waverley train station and the bus station, both of which are also reachable by direct bus services. An Airport bus departs at regular intervals from Waverley bridge.

As the apartment is in a residential building, we expect guests to be quiet and respectful to our neighbours at all times. They are not on holiday and do not wish to be disturbed by our guests making noise/ringing their doorbell etc.

We enjoyed very much in Annette's apartment. Since the host was close to the apartment check-in was going well although I forgot to inform my arrival time in advance. The host was very kind and helpful. she gave us some useful information. There's not so much things to ask cause it's very well organized though. Kitchen was wonderful we enjoyed our cooking and it feels like I'm just staying at my friend's place. Comfortable and cozy. Then location is not really central but still easy to reach to the city center. We walked everyday to the city center. I'd like to recommend this apartment to everyone.
We had a fabulous time in Edinburgh. The apartment was clean and fully furnished with a personal touch. The spacious kitchen is particularly remarkable. Annette has been a polite and pleasant host. We highly recommend this apartment to other guests.
We staid three days in Edimburgh, and we have a real nice stay in this apartement. Annette, welcomed us even if it was a bit late at night (around 11:00 pm). The flat had every thing we needs and was really confortable. Dishwasher, Washing-machine, food shop just across the road, 15 min walks to the city. A really niec and cozy flat
Hemos estado a gusto con el apartamento proporcionado, sin embargo Annette nos ha tratado muy bien aportando ayuda en todo momento. El apartamento muy bonito y acogedor con una gran cocina muy moderna, un comedor con sofá cama y un ventanal espectacular, hemos dormido muy bien y sin ruidos importantes, la verdad que recomendamos este lugar por la zona, el sitio y el trato recibido. Mandamos un saludo a Annette desde aquí Barcelona y no obstante si volvemos ya sabemos donde ir.

All was fine. 20\30 min walking to the center. We was 3 friends. The flat is clean.
I can highly recommend Annette as a host. The apartment was big enough for 4 people. The kitchen was very well-equipped. Towels and bedding provided were of great quality. The check-in / check-out was flexible and easy going.
The apartment is located in Easter Road, within a 10-minute walking distance to Calton Hill, with many shops, pubs, and convenient stores close by. Also, bus no. 35 to the airport can be reached within a 2-minute walking distance.
Perfect accommodation for visiting Edinburgh.
The the apartment is nice and, although small, is well equiped. The location is also good, and you can get to the Royal Mile in 20-30 minutes of walk.
The tundred bed, that is the two people one, is not really comfortable, specially for the back. We went four people and, in that case, the apartment ends a little small.
