I found the apartment exactly as advertised. The photos showed what to expect. The apartment is situated on a quiet residential street in a typical older Jerusalem apartment building. The location between King David Street and Keren HaYasod is perfect for walking to the old city (15 minutes to the Jaffa Gate) or to the downtown of new Jerusalem (less than15 minutes to Ben Yehuda). We had been told it was up 4 flights of stairs and it was. There was no elevator in the building. Anyone in reasonable shape would have no problem but you need to be prepared to shlep the luggage up on your arrival. Everything was ready on our arrival. Fresh,clean, soft towels, sheets and bedding made up, and the apartment was clean. Everything was working order. Great kitchen, well equipped, 3 bathrooms! and even a gift of specialty soap and shampoo was waiting. My only comment was that there was not a lot of natural light in the apartment and no views but given the amount of time we actually spent there, this was not a concern to us. There was not a lot of seating area for relaxing or watching television for example, but again, the photos on the website accurately showed the set up.
I would highly recommend this apartment for those who don't mind the stairs, and those that want an exceptionally comfortable place to sleep and are not looking outdoor space or views of the city. I found this apartment to be exceptional value for the location and comfort level we received.
