Come and stay in our fantastic London flat, wonderfully located in Earls Court, Central London!
The flat is ideally located on Warwick Road, Earl's Court, in the historic London Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
Earls Court Road offers all manner of shops; restaurants and bars in abundance. A short walk takes you to the heart of Kensington, quintessential London, where you have everything you could ask for out of London.
Numerous public transport options are available - primary among which is Earl's Court Underground station, less than 2 minutes walk from the front door.
From there you are within easy reach of the entire London Underground network, including direct trains to:
• Victoria, Kings Cross, Leicester Square & Covent Garden (SHOPS & THEATRES),
• Monument & Tower Hill (LONDON'S BUSINESS CENTRE),
• St James' Park (BUCKINGHAM PALACE),
• Westminster (BIG BEN),
• Knightsbridge (HARRODS)
• Wimbledon (HOME OF TENNIS).
• South Kensington (BARS AND CLUBS)
Also important to note are direct (no changes) trains from Earls Court to LONDON HEATHROW airport, allowing you to keep your airport transfers quick and simple without the need for taxis. (Time 35 mins, cost £3 off peak). There is also a direct Easybus service every 20 or 30 mins from West Brompton to GATWICK AIRPORT (Time 1 hour, cost £2)
If you prefer, there are also many bus routes available just metres from the flat, or the ever-present London black-cabs. Also just a minute away is a docking station for the London Transport Bicycle Hire Scheme, providing simple pay-as-you go bicycle rental.
One last benefit of the location is the proximity of the famous Earls Court Exhibition Centre. Less than a minute's walk from the flat, the Centre is home to dozens of fantastic events throughout the year - The Ideal Home Show, The Ski & Snowboard Show, The Cycle Show, The National Wedding Show, The Restaurant Show and many, many more. If you're planning on attending an Earl's Court show, or one of the many corporate conferences held there, the flat couldn't be any more convenient.
The property itself is a recently modernised lower ground floor flat. Windows are all double glazed. It features a spacious master bedroom with a convenient en-suite shower room and a second double bedroom. We have also recently converted a former wine cellar to provide a quirky and cosy little single bedroom, ideal for a single guest or perhaps one of the kids! We also provide a double sofa-bed in the lounge, allowing the flat to sleep 2 extra if needs-be. The main bathroom is also recently refurbished, with both bath and shower available.
The main living area is a large open plan space, featuring a fully equipped, modern kitchen with washing machine, dining table & chairs, and a comfortable lounge area with sofas and television.
Outside is a lovely intimate garden (70 square meters), with table, chairs, parasol and even a barbecue - ideal for relaxing at the end of a long day in the city (provided the British weather behaves!). There are outdoor electrical sockets and lights in the garden. Wifi broadband internet is also provided. Please note neither the flat nor garden is wheelchair accessible.
The area is well lit and well covered by CCTV. Walking alone late at night is commonplace.
Guests can expect a total of 6 bath towels (laid on the beds) and 2 hand towels (one in each bathroom). Should the requirment be different, please do let us know and we shall see what we can accomodate. Each bathroom will have a liquid soap and a toilet roll.
William is my site manager and he helps with the day to day running. He is very open and is ready and willing to answer your quesions during your stay.
